LinkedIn Banner Resizer
LinkedIn's personal banner is an unusual canvas: 1584×396 — a 4:1 strip that most photos do not fit by default. This resizer seeds both dimensions for you: drop an image, and the workspace starts at the exact spec. Compose with the safe zones in mind, export a clean JPG, and your profile art lands pixel-perfect — without an upload.
The personal-profile banner renders at 1584×396. On mobile the profile photo and name card overlap the lower-left region, and the layout shifts between devices — so keep faces, logos and key text toward the center-right and away from the very bottom edge.
Company pages use a different format (1128×191) — this page targets the personal banner, the one most people actually need.
Ultra-wide banners favor horizontal compositions: skylines, desk-from-above shots, subtle branded gradients with a short tagline. Portrait photos need a deliberate crop before resizing — center the subject in the middle band and let the edges run soft.
1584×396 pixels for personal profiles (a 4:1 ratio). Company pages differ at 1128×191. The preset here seeds the personal-profile spec.
LinkedIn adapts the crop per device, and mobile overlays the profile card on the lower-left. Design with the center-right as your safe zone and nothing important sits under the overlay.
JPG at quality ~90 — photographic banners stay lean and LinkedIn re-compresses uploads anyway. PNG is fine for flat graphic designs if you prefer the crisp edges.
Yes, but crop it to 4:1 first (or unlock the aspect lock here and position the crop), otherwise the seeded dimensions will squash the image vertically.
